Weight capacity would then be up to 5 KG, depending on the strength of the plasterboard sheeting. The bracket base size is 6.2cm wide x 0.5cm thick and 1.6cm high, galvanized steel with 2 fixing holes spaced at 3.8cm centres. Fixing holes are slotted to allow further fine adjustment when screw fixing to the wall. The angle of the support rod can be adjusted by tightening or loosening the small screws in the bracket base piece to ensure shelf is at an ideal angle to the adjacent wall surface. The solid steel support rod is 6.5cm long x 1.2cm diameter. Suitable for custom manufactured floating shelves of thickness 2cm and above and with a maximum depth of 16cm. Use a minimum of 2 brackets per shelf, we recommend at least one bracket is used every 50cm spacing in a solid/brick type wall. Ensure bracket is fitted the correct way up to allow the angle of the support rod to be adjusted as required.
